What we do
We clean dryer vents, clean HVAC ducts, repair broken vent runs, and install code-compliant vent systems for residential properties across Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Leland, Hampstead, Southport, and Oak Island. Most home-service operators in the Cape Fear region either do everything (the appliance repair shop that also offers vent cleaning on the side) or do nothing residential at all (the big commercial HVAC outfit). The middle is underserved: the homeowner who needs their dryer vent cleaned this month and doesn't want to call a generalist who'll spend 20 minutes on the actual cleaning and the rest of the visit trying to sell them an air-handler. We focus because that focus is what makes us faster, cleaner, and more thorough than the generalists.
How we work on a typical job
One technician, one truck, one focused job per visit. We answer the phone in person most of the time, give quotes over the phone before booking, and arrive on time. A standard residential dryer vent cleaning takes 60-90 minutes. We use a rotary brush system, a HEPA- filtered vacuum, and we check airflow before and after. Every visit produces before-and-after photos and a written, emailed invoice you can hand to your insurance carrier, HOA, or property manager without asking twice.
The Cape Fear humidity factor
We say "coastal NC" a lot on this site, and for a reason. Most national dryer vent and HVAC guides are calibrated for inland or dry climates. The Cape Fear region averages around 75% humidity year-round, the salt air pulls moisture into ventilation pathways, and the AC runs almost every day from April through October. The practical effect: vents and ducts that would last 18 months between cleanings inland often need attention every 9-12 months here. Almost every recommendation we make to a customer is shaped by that fact.
